Bill, people love the spooky stuff.

Exorcisms, secret societies, albino monks etc. So what if the movie isn't true. It's fiction. And if there are boneheads out there who think it's a documentary, is that really so terrible? The Catholic Church needs a little weirdness to separate itself from the Protestants.
