April 25, 2009 (Tampa Bay Times)The Florida senate approved a crucifixion license plate (with either a sun or a big orange behind Jesus). Many senators approved the plate sight unseen and didn't bother to debate its pros and cons.
This one is going to court. A similar plate was smacked down by an enlightened judge in South Carolina (link). And if the court doesn't kill it, how long will it be before someone pairs the plate with truck nuts?
