Bible scholar Bart Ehrman, who wrote Misquoting Jesus, has a new book out.
Jesus, Interrupted: Revealing the Hidden Contradictions in the Bible (and Why We Don't Know About Them).
Ehrman is the James A. Gray Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Ph.D and M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Studying various historical translations of the Bible led to the ultimate crisis of faith for Ehrman, who was a born-again Christian as a teenager. He now considers himself an agnostic.
Here is an excerpt from Jesus, Interrupted.
